Hello, my name is Kelly Johnson, MD, the founder and owner of Pediatric House Calls. I am a board certified pediatrician and I have been practicing pediatrics for 14 years. I trained at St. George’s University School of Medicine and completed my Pediatric residency at UTMB in Galveston, Texas.  I have a Masters of Science degree in Human Anatomy from UAMS in Little Rock , Arkansas and I received my undergraduate training at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas (B.A. Biology).  I currently live in the Lakewood area of Dallas with my two children.

I have vast experience in pediatric emergency medicine, urgent care, primary care, and newborn care. During my 14 years of practice I have come to understand that the knowledge and compassion required for good pediatric care is difficult to find in our modern, busy lives. I am the mother of two small children so I understand how busy and complicated parenting can be which is why I am proud to be the founder of a company that has the potential to bring comfort, health, and happiness back into your home.  I’ve had many parents over the years ask for a faster, more convenient, and a more compassionate way to access health care for their children when they are sick or injured.  Hospitals, emergency rooms, and clinics can be scary places for children and although sometimes they are very necessary to the wellness of our children, many times I can offer you a better, less intimidating, alternative.
